VPN stands for virtual private network. This tutorial introduces the viewers to the concept of VPN, tunneling, VPN server, VPN client and VPN routers. I explain, in this computer networking tutorial, that VPN also known as Virtual private netowrk is the technology which extends the private network to the remote locations using the internet infrastructure in a secure manner. VPN makes the communication secure between the VPN client and VPN server, in the remote-access VPN scenarion, by using the authentication, tunneling, encryption of the packets and encapsulation of the packet.
