In Geneva, the United States, Britain, China, Russia, and Germany are continuing talks with Iran. The Islamic Republic of Iran is pressing for the economic sanctions imposed on the country to be lifted. As the talks go on, a poll conducted by the Washington Post and ABC News has a shown that 64% of the U.S. public wants an agreement with Tehran over its nuclear energy program. This is while Israel, and some members of the U.S. congress want more sanctions on Iran and call any dela with the country as a bad deal. Alex Majumder, an activist with the International Action Center, explained why so many people in the U.S. are opposed to the ongoing sanctions and hostilities.
