A woman named Linda Ducharme recently renewed her marriage vows with an amusement park ride, which she named Bruce. Ducharme was introduced to the Ferris wheel like ride way back in 1982.

Ducharme detailed her excitement during that first encounter stating “I got this weird feeling I can’t explain. My heart was pounding as we went up the platform and got on the ride. I felt like I was being taken by this ride.”

Ducharme has quite a history with inanimate objects. She had reportedly fallen in love with a plane and also claimed to have had intimate relations with a train.

She has a condition known as objectum sexuality, which is classified as a disorder in which people consider standard objects or vehicles as lovers instead of human beings. In the 1980s, when Ducharme met Bruce, she quickly got a job at the carnival so she could always be near the ride.

Due to a storm, Bruce was put out of commission and moved. Thanks to a friend’s help, Ducharme found the pile of steel in a scrap yard about 3,000 miles away from her home. In the end she hopes to buy a large piece of property where she and Bruce can grow old together.
