It is back to set for some of the cast and crew of X-Men: Days of Future Past, but should that be something that concerns us? Director Bryan Singer and the upcoming X-Men cast are heading back to Montreal, Canada during the holiday season to shoot a few extra scenes for the upcoming movie which will hit theaters on May 23, 2014. Hans Franklin, who is the Quebec film commissioner that has been working to coordinate with the Fox production team, said that while this will be a big reshoot for a film that is already the second most expensive movie ever made with Fox, this isn't a sign that the movie is having problems. Actually, he said that things like this happen all the time and especially with such huge productions. And if a movie could ever be qualified as huge, this one is. The film will combine both previous X-Men franchises and is said to be a sequel-prequel of sorts to The Last Stand and First Class (Bryan Singer has officially called it an inbetweenquel) and it is incorporating a huge cast of past characters as well as some new mutants. We can probably expect a good bit of time travel in the movie, which will be set in the 70's and also 10 years in the future. And we will see both the younger and older versions of the characters appearing with stars like Ian McKellen, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Steward, James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman, Jennfier Lawrence, Hallie Berry, and many many more all returning. Production on Days of Future Past wrapped this past August was one of the biggest movies that has ever been shot in Montreal, and now Franklin is busy trying to get Fox to agree to come back to the city to shoot Roland Emmerich's Independence Day sequel as well in 2015. So, generally speaking what are your thoughts on reshoots? And aren't we all glad that Singer is taking the extra time to make sure Days of Future Past is perfect? You know the drill. Let us know.
