The Christmas wish list items Paltrow posted in her GOOP holiday gift guide include a set of Hermes playing cards at $104, a $210 teapot and a $1,200 membership in the exclusive Orin Swift wine club. Of course, Paltrow also suggests her autographed cookbooks for $55 as a great holiday gift.
    With Leonardo DiCaprio's The Wolf of Wall Street moving from this weekend to a Christmas Day release, box-office analysts expected a particularly easy win for Thor: The Dark World , in only its second weekend of release. Instead, the god of thunder nearly got a beatdown from The Best Man Holiday , the latest race-themed film to score a hit this year. With a boost from from teen moviegoers on Saturday, Thor squeaked out the win for the second straight weekend with $38.5 million, according to studio estimates from Rentrak.

The 38-year old actress and activist was honored for her efforts Saturday night at the 2013 Governors Awards in Hollywood. Angelina, who was joined by longtime love Brad Pitt and their son Maddox was given the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for her work as the co-founder of the Prevent Sexual Violence Initiative and for serving as a special envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
