A Pueblo, Colorado mob attacked a 54-year-old man thought to have sexually assaulted two children.
Residents claim they were upset not have been warned by police about two separate cases of sexual assault against a child. They started their own search for the perpetrator when someone identified the unnamed 54-year-old as matching the attacker's description. A few people gathered to confront the man, and others in the neighborhood joined the group. [CONTINUED BELOW]
The man ran initially, but the small mob of six or seven surrounded him, throwing both rocks and punches. The man's face got bloodied before police arrived and took him away. He was later released on a lack of evidence. He also submitted a DNA sample. The man was not seriously injured and chose not to file charges against any of his attackers.
