Spanish court acquits oil spill defendants

A Spanish court has acquitted the defendants in the case of the Prestige oil tanker that sank off the coast of Spain in 2002. The incident led to one of Europe's worst environmental disasters. Thousands of kilometres of coastline across Spain, France and Portugal were polluted. The 78-year old Greek captain was ordered jailed for resisting calls to return to shore, but will not serve time due to his old age. Al Jazeera's Barnaby Phillips reports.
