The Top 12 perform on The Voice including an awesome Avicii cover, a stage dive, and Matthew Schuler takes us to church! Hey Voice fans thanks for checking out ClevverMusic for your VOICE CAP. Last night the top 12 performed on the voice, facing a double elimination this week in hopes of being in the Top 10. With no more saves or steals here's how the Top 12 performed. Team Ceelo's Caroline Pennell continues to be a fan favorite, this time singing an upbeat song- Avicii's "Wake Me Up", you have to see this.
While we didn't think it was her best performance on the show so far, it seems the coaches may have agreed. Adam Levine and Blake Shelton took the opportunity to talk about the studio audience's 'lack of rhythm' instead of her performance. Also thanks to Ceelo we got The Voice's first ever stage dive from Kat Robichaud as she sang Awolnation's "Sail" in a gritty emo rock performance. On Team Christina Aguilera Jacquie Lee did phenomenally well with a raspy Jack White song "Love is Blind", but it was Matthew Schuler that took us to another dimension with "Hallelujah", here's a look.
The coaches praised Matthew's performance with both Christina and Blake calling him "Magical". That performance was hard to follow, but the singers had no choice really. On Team Adam we have to admit we enjoyed James Wolpert's The Killers cover of "Mr. Brightside" and his coach Adam confirmed afterwards, " just turned into a rock star." Over on Team Blake Shelton the ladies went WILD for Ray Beaudreaux doing a sexy John Legend ballad cover of "All of Me". We see what Blake's doing there, pulling the heartthrob card for Ray! And it's working. Blake commented after the performance, "Ray is sexy and you can't blame him for that." Well, that's debatable. The night ended with Cole Vosbury doing a surprising R&B cover of Miguel's "Adorn", and we didn't hate it. But enough about us, it's about you: tell us your favorite performance of the night?!
