Miley Cyrus debuts an incredible cover of Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness" but what does she have to be sad about? Hey Smilers this is ClevverMusic as you know, thanks for tuning in. Miley is still promoting her "Bangerz" album and stopped by BBC Radio 1 in London for a "Live Lounge" session. Miley performed "Wrecking Ball" and also chose to sing an acoustic version of Lana Del Rey's current hit "Summertime Sadness". Her rendition of the song is absolutely stunning, but was almost ruined by her tongue making an appearance at the start of the track. Take a peek at the superb performance now.
We think Miley did a phenomenal job on the cover, and sounds surprisingly a lot like Lana. But what does Lana think? We're not sure she'd be thrilled with Miley covering her song but only time will tell if she decides to speak out about it. And we have to wonder what is Miley sad enough about to choose this song to sing? She could have done another song from her album, but chose to honor Lana instead. Is she sad about Liam, sad Summer is over, or something else? Miley seems to be on top of the world, just winning the EMA for Video of the Year and announcing her brand new "Bangerz" tour. Tell us why you think Miley chose to sing this song. I'm Misty Kingma in for ClevverMusic, see you soon, I promise! - Visit our website! - Facebook Fan Page! - Follow Us! - Follow Misty!
