Around Super Bowl, the Norwegian Getaway, which is an upscale cruise ship that can accommodate thousands of passengers, will be transformed into a Bud Light hotel.
Football and beer – there’s not too many combinations that compare. In celebration of Super bowl 48, the Norwegian Getaway, which is an upscale cruise ship that can accommodate thousands of passengers, will be transformed into a Bud Light hotel.
The huge watercraft will be docked in New York for the super bowl game, scheduled to take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and it will be entirely decked out with Bud Light décor.
In the past, Bud Light has rented properties as venues for Super bowl parties but next year marks the first time a ship will be used to house the festivities. The Bud Light logo will be printed on towels, pillows and even soap bottles on the ship.
The makeshift floating hotel will be the super bowl party feature from January 30th through February 2nd. Company authorities noted “Nearly 10 times bigger than the previous Hotels, Bud Light Hotel New York will be docked at Pier 88 and will hold 4,000 guests in 1,900 staterooms during Super Bowl weekend.”
They described the ship as the “largest Bud Light Hotel in history”.
