Dozens of people queued at Tacloban's city airport in central Philippines on Sunday hoping to catch a flight out of the devastated city on planes being used to deliver relief goods, after Typhoon Haiyan swept through leaving at least 10,000 people dead.

For other residents in Tacloban- more lines at the airport as aid workers handed out food and water.

The U.N's humanitarian agency said 4.3 million people have been affected by the typhoon in some 36 provinces.
