A Chilean forensics team has found no evidence that Nobel laureate Pablo Neruda was poisoned.

The poet’s body was exhumed and tested following accusations that he was murdered at the orders of dictator Augusto Pinochet.

Neruda, famed for his passionate love poems and staunch communist views, died in 1973.
