Police in Germany have recovered over 1500 modernist masterpieces from a flat in Munich.
The hoard, said to have been looted by the Nazis, includes works by Picasso, Matisse and Chagall.
The paintings found there way into the hands of a German art collector who passed them on to his son.
The combined works are thought to be worth up to 900 million euros.
