Hoping to prove there is life after death, 28 Weeks Later director is in negotiations to remake Pet Sematary. Pet Sematary was the movie that made me completely terrified of cats, and according to Variety, Paramount is in talks with director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo to dig up and reimagine the Stephen King classic. It looks like Transformers producer, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura along with Insidious producer, Steven Schneider will be producing, with a script that was written by Seventh Son's scribe Matt Greenberg, as well as David Kajganich. The novel was first written back in 1983, and was then turned into the classic film we all know and love in 1989. Now, like any good horror story, Pet Sematary follows a family who has just moved into a new house, in a new town. But this new home just so happens to be next to a haunted graveyard where anything that is buried there comes back to life, but with some disturbing consequences. The original film was directed by Mary Lambert, and was pretty successful at the box office for it's time, but when a sequel was made in 1992, the response wasn't great, and the franchise was laid to rest. But do you all think that it's time to see a new take on Pet Sematary? Let us know, and oh you may notice that I am rocking a MOstache today, and it's in honor the first day of MOVEMBER! The month where men proudly let their masculinity shine by growing a moustache in support of men's cancer research.
