Portly beauty pageant: 220+ lb obese women compete for title in Japan

Japan recently held a portly beauty pageant for obese women where all the contestants weighed at least 220 pounds. Every contestant had 10 minutes to perform during the pageant. In the end, the champion was a cosplayer named LUU, whom has released several sexy portrait albums on Amazon.

The portly beauty pageant has garnered a lot of positive responses, with even many obese celebrities expressing their support. Chia-Chia Chen, a Hong Kong actress who weighs 230 pounds, believes that portly beauty pageants give obese women a reason to dress up and take care of their appearances.

However, while it may be true that obese women can benefit from portly beauty pageants, beauty is still in the eye of the beholder.
