The Lebanese Army has deployed checkpoints throughout the northern city Tripoli as part of a security plan to restore calm between supporters and opponents of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Meanwhile, two more people have been killed by sniper fires since the Army started setting up checkpoints and boosted patrols throughout Tripoli and the main street that separates the rival neighborhoods of Jabal Mohsen and Bab al-Tabbaneh.
