A potato in Sweden has become a record breaker for the country. The spud weighed in at over four pounds. The potato, which is said to resemble Kate Winslet in Titanic's nude scene, was discovered stuck in a machine at a food packaging plant in central Sweden after workers investigated to find out what was causing the trouble with the machinery.

An authority at the packing facility stated “We package between three and four hundred tonnes of potato each week but this one was different.

Intrigued and hopeful the spud might be the biggest ever discovered, it was placed in a fridge for preservation. That proved to be a wise decision.

The Swedish Potato AB, which is a website dedicated to finding Sweden’s biggest potato, got wind of the discovery at the plant. The agency later declared the facility, called the L.E.V & Co packing station, as the winner for the largest spud competition.

To celebrate, they’d like to stuff it and turn it into lunch. They said they’re curious to see how many people it will feed.
