New York Knicks concluded the 2012-13 campaign with a record of 54-28 and was the second seed in the Eastern conference behind the Miami Heat and 4 ½ games better than the Indiana Pacers. The Knicks disposed of Boston in the first round of the playoffs but were eliminated by the Indiana Pacers in six games in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Carmelo Anthony will be a free agent at the end of the season. New faces in New York are defensive specialist Metta World Peace and Andrea Bargnani.
