Breeze Silverleaf Jazz Band 1977
The Silverlead Jazz Band during one of the Peter Appleyard Jazz Shows recorded in Toronto in the late seventies.
We're looking back almost 30 years and I consider this to be the hottest Canadian New Orleans styled jazz band there ever was.
Of course a typical Canadian band. Which means 3 Canadians, two Brits, a German and a Dutchman. Peter Appleyard who made fame with the later Benny Goodman sextets is the shows host. More than 75 shows were recorded in the three seasons between 1977 and 1979.
