Kareena Kapoor Khan will be honoured will be honoured by the Asian Sunday Newspaper and the honorable members of UK Parliament at the prestigious House of Commons, for her contribution to the entertainment industry.
The event would be held on October 29, at the launch of the newspaper's London Edition. Apart from the actress, the members of Parliament and members of the Bradford Metropolitan District Council will be honouring other artistes as well, which also include Kimberley Walsh of the international pop band Girls Aloud.
According to sources, MPs from three leading Political parties of UK - the Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrat - will grace the event, which will be followed by a dinner at Westminster. Also, present at the occasion will be Bradford and London MPs, VIPs, dignitaries and influencers from across the business and media sectors.
Earlier, megastar Amitabh Bachchan was given the Global Diversity Award at the House of Commons. Also actress Shilpa Shetty visited this place in 2007 after winning the celebrity reality show, Big Brother.
Well, seems like it's now the fortunate turn of Kareena Kapoor Khan to be honoured by the honorable UK Parliament.
