It was just like any other day in Cairo.

Traffic buzzing on an early September afternoon.

Then a white SUV drives through an intersection.

New video released by Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, a Sinai-based militant group, appears to show a suicide attack targeting Egypt's Interior Minister.

The video identifies former major Waleed Badr as being responsible for the September 5th attack.

On camera, the man said to be Badr praises Allah and asks to be granted success and reward for his mission.

The attack killed the bomber, a passerby and one other person.

More than 20 people were wounded.
