So much Marvel news and so little time, but don't fret! We're tying it all up in a nice package with a pretty bow on top, just for you. Thor: The Dark World is finally here and you know what that means - junket time! I had the chance to fly to jolly ol' England to talk with the stars and filmmakers behind the latest Marvel adventure. You'll be able to check out all of them right here very soon, but we thought we'd break down the top five things we learned while we were there. So here we go! First up, we got a chance to sit down with Marvel president Kevin Feige and we had to ask him to clear up some recent rumors for us. There's been lots of talk about Vin Diesel taking on the role of "Groot" in Guardians of the Galaxy and even Diesel himself recently posted a video showing how he's prepping to play the sentient tree. But Marvel has been pretty mum about the casting and there's been no official confirmation. Here's what Feige had to say about that. So Vin is NOT confirmed for Guardians just yet, but what about those rumors that Paul Rudd and Joseph Gordon-Levitt being eyed to play Ant-Man? So it sounds like we'll have to wait a little longer before we find out who will be playing Ant-Man, but we do know production will be taking place next summer and pre-production has already begun. Third on our list comes from the lovely Natalie Portman who plays Thor's love interest Jane Foster. We know Jane was left out of the first Avengers movie, but could she make an appearance in the sequel? Check out what she told us. Sounds like no Avengers 2 for Ms. Portman, but maybe that will change once she actually finds out what Age of Ultron is. Next up is Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth. It was reported earlier in the year that Hemsworth had not signed on yet to return as the God of Thunder for The Avengers sequel, making us wonder how long we'd be seeing him wield his mighty hammer on the big screen. I don't know about you, but we're very glad to hear we'll see him in at least one more Thor film and two more Avengers films, but what about his on-screen brother and rival, Loki, aka Tom Hiddleston. We know he won't be making another appearance until Thor 3, but what about all that talk of a standalone Loki movie? Though Tom reveals that there are currently no official plans for one, he did share his thoughts on what he'd like to see the movie go.Okay, how do we make this movie happen? Someone get Kevin Feige on the phone! So there you have it, our top five favorite things we learned at the Thor: The Dark World junket. Be sure to stay connected with us on Facebook and Twitter to see those interviews in their entirety and let us know which was your favorite fact. And be sure to check out Thor: The Dark World when it hits theaters on November 8th. I'm Miriam Isa for ClevverMovies, thanks for watching!
