St. Louis Blues Bob Cats 1986
At the fifth annual Cork Festival in 1986 we see a performance by the Bob Cats. I guess bassist Bob Haggart as one of the original Bob Cats members from the mid thirties could claim that name for this engagement. The only other original is saxophonist Eddie Miller.
Others in the band are Yank Lawson trumpet, Abe Most clarinet, Bob Havens trombone, Lou Stein piano, Marty Gross guitar and Nick Fatool drums
These seniors of jazz just play through the standard St Louis Blues. No fancy arrangement for them. They've seen and done it all. They just play straight forward hard swinging jazz, basically what it is all about!
