Madagascar is set to hold its first presidential election since a military-backed coup in 2009, with 33 candidates vying for the presidency. The election has been a long time coming, as it has already been postponed three times this year due to political squabbling. Presidential candidates held their last campaign rallies on Wednesday, and polls are set to open on Friday with hopes to put an end to the political crisis that has resulted in years of economic upheaval. Al Jazeera's Tania Page reports from Antananarivo.
