    A cousin of Aaron Hernandez has been granted bail with conditions as she faces charges in connection with the murder case against the former New England Patriots player. On Thursday, a judge set $15,000 cash bail for Tanya Singleton. She has been held without bail since pleading not guilty to criminal contempt and conspiracy to commit accessory after the fact. Prosecutors say Singleton helped Hernandez's "right-hand man" Ernest Wallace travel to Florida after Odin Lloyd's killing and discussed helping Hernandez associate Carlos Ortiz flee to Puerto Rico.

    An attorney for a man charged with plotting the September 11 attacks accused U.S. military guards at the Guantanamo Bay detention facility on Thursday of seizing his client Mustafa al Hawsawi's private legal document marked "attorney-client privilege." The allegation from Navy Lieutenant Commander Walter Ruiz called into question whether five defendants undergoing a pretrial hearing in the Guantanamo war crimes tribunal can expect a fair trial.
    A judge ordered a retrial for Michael Skakel who was convicted more than a decade ago in the 1975 murder of his teenage neighbor. Judge Thomas Bishop ruled that Skakel's attorney did not sufficiently represent him when he was convicted in 2002 of bludgeoning Martha Moxley to death when they were both 15-year-olds in tony Greenwich, Conn. He is currently serving 20 years to life behind bars.
