NASA and scientists at the Planetary Science Institute are saying they've found the first supervolcano on another planet. They're calling their discovery Edin Patera and it's on Mars. It's big enough to have affected Mars' atmosphere for years. If it erupted, or if there were several volcanoes active at the same time, they collectively could have made a major impact on the red planet. Patrick Jones (@Patrick_E_Jones) has the rest.
