Apc Smart Ups Sc420 420va System Review

APC is the golden standard for UPS protection. You cant go wrong with purchasing one of their products. I purchased this UPS because of the Smart software that will send a shutdown command to the PC when the battery is almost dead when the power is out. Not just kill the power to your computer when the battery runs out (defeating the purpose of the UPS). This unit only has a serial port connection, not a USB one. Had this UPS included a USB connection I would have given it 5 stars. http://garyadair.com/324842
