Pakistan is exploring several options to meet its future energy needs. One of them is to import natural gas from neighboring Iran. Iran has completed work on its side of the border. However, Pakistan has yet to lay the pipeline on its side. The delay has prompted one of Pakistan’s senior lawyers to seek the intervention of the Supreme Court to ensure the timely completion of the project.
