Carol Burnett received the Kennedy Center's Mark Twain Prize on Sunday (October 20). The 80-year old legendary actress and comedienne was honored with a star-studded ceremony in Washington, D.C. that included appearances by Julie Andrews, Tina Fey and Tony Bennett among others. The ceremony will air in the U.S. on November 24 on PBS.

Rihanna has caused a stir in Abu Dhabi. The singer was reportedly turned away from one of the country's most famous mosques after taking, what mosque representatives said, were inappropriate pictures. Rihanna posted a pic, showing her wearing a hijab, but posing provocatively with bright red lipstick. A spokesperson for the mosque said Rihanna had come for a private tour, but had never coordinated her visit in advance.

Kelly Clarkson got married over the weekend. The singer tied the knot with talent manager Brandon Blackstock in a small ceremony in Tennessee. The ceremony was an intimate one - with only a small group of family and friends
