Lessons for Syrian refugees
A school for Syrian children opens in Turkey.

Turkey is now home to more than 600,000 Syrian refugees.

While it may be back to school for these students many have already had painful life lessons of war and peace.

Millions of Syrians have fled the violence after more than two years of war.

Turkey says it will maintain its "open door" policy to those fleeing the civil war.

It has already spent about 2 billion dollars in assistance.

The United Nations expects another 2 million Syrians to become refugees in 2014. Which will likely mean more lessons on loss as they join the ranks of refugees.
