LGWI - Civil War Generals II 002 (CHARGE!, Resolution, The Armory)

I continue to punish the Confederates for leaving their defensive position on the other side of Blackburn's Ford. William Tecumseh Sherman's Iron Brigade, in particular, does a fantastic job of schooling the opposition. Afterwards, I attempt (in vain) to explain more of the game mechanics while simultaneously (and also in vain) attempting to decide what weapons I should purchase.

Historical recap: The Battle of Blackburn's Ford took place in Virginia on July 18, 1861, prefacing the Battle of Bull Run (First Manassas). Estimates suggest 3,000 Union and 7,000 Confederate soldiers fought at Blackburn's Ford with 85 Union and 68 Confederate casualties. The Confederacy emerged victorious.
