Scoundrels are a 4-piece "cruddy rock n' soul" band hailing from Tottenham, London. The band were the first signings to recently revived blues label Blue Horizon (home to Fleetwood Mac, Bluesbreakers and Champion Jack Dupree amongst others) and were signed by legendary A & R man and Sire Records founder Seymour Stein. Having been signed the band were sent to live and record in South Louisiana, getting schooled by the local Cajun musicians and working with producer Steve Albini and swamp pop legend C.C. Adcock. The band have since toured extensively all over the world, and last year built a studio and musical headquarters in Tottenham where they work with a large group of likeminded musicians recording, writing and running their bi-monthly "Arch Parties".
