Egypt demonstrators mark killing of Christians

Hundreds of Egyptians marked the second anniversary of a military crackdown on Christian protesters with a candlelit vigil on Wednesday.

They waved pictures of the 25 Christian demonstrators killed in the 2011 bloody protests returning to the scene of the killings at night fall.

Two years ago they came here to the state TV building in Cairo to protest against an attack on a church in southern Egypt.

Instead many were gunned down by security forces, while others were run over by armoured vehicles.

It was one of the worst incidents of state perpetrated violence during military interim rule.

No one has been held accountable.

This woman's sister was killed in the violence.
