Pollution increases cholesterol levels, researcher shows

Los Angeles, May 22 (EFE).- Researcher Jesus Araujo, director of Environmental Cardiology at the UCLA medical school, has shown in a study to be published by the American Heart Association that cholesterol levels are greater in mice that were exposed to diesel exhaust, suggesting that it's not only the fat we eat, but also the air we breathe.
