Québec offers skiers and snowboarders a wonderfully long winter to pursue their passion, and all in a friendly atmosphere.

Québec’s ski stations are visited by international athletes and rookies alike and have a total of some 800 trails for skiers of all levels. Spread out over two major mountain ranges, the Laurentian Mountains and the Appalachians, most of these ski stations are conveniently located near the major cities. One of these is Le Massif de Charlevoix, just one hour from Québec City.

Le Massif offers the highest vertical drop east of the Canadian Rockies (770 m / 2,526 ft.). With its stunning skiable terrain and angled slopes seeming to sweep into the sea, the mountain is also renowned for its impressive snowfall-over 669 cm (22 ft.) annually.

Part of the experience of Le Massif is the journey. The Train of Le Massif de Charlevoix travels just under 100 miles between Québec City and La Malbaie across 50miles of incomparable riverside scenery. It offers a unique rail experience along mountains and seashore. On their rail journey, passengers enjoy rare exposure to breathtaking views, discovering the region's history, its culture and hidden treasures.
