Man shoots himself in groin after argument over speeding

A man apparently speeding in Norfolk, Virginia accidentally blasted himself in the groin with his own gun after he waved it at bystanders who told him to slow down.
It started around 7:30 Tuesday night when 43-year-old driver Rhonney Jacobs was speeding down Red Brook Road off East Little Creek Road in a red Nissan 350z. Jacobs, who lives on the road, sped by some of his neighbors in the residential area. Two men who were out on a lawn yelled at Jacobs to slow down as he sped by.
That's the point when Jacobs superior intellect and decision making skills came into play. Jacobs apparently thought the best course of action would be to make a U-turn, which is exactly what he did. Jacobs stopped in front of the lawn with the two men. He then got out of his car waving a .45-caliber gun.
A struggle then ensued between Jacobs and one of the men that told him to slow down. During the struggle, Jacobs was skillful enough to shoot himself right in the groin area. One witness said Jacobs then grabbed his groin area as he started to bleed profusely from his self-inflicted wound.
Children were playing in the neighborhood at the time Jacobs blasted his own package. Wonder if Jacobs will go balls out next time he's told to slow down?
