Labor ministry figures show the number of people registered as unemployed rose by over 25-thousand in the month of September. That’s point-five percent higher than the month before. The rise brings an end to the six month streak of gradual decline in the country’s rate. Now, with the end of September and tourism season, most of the people hired for the summer season lost their jobs. Some unions in Spain consider say that the austerity measures and the lack of investment by the government are main reason for the tide of joblessness.
