Furloughed federal workers hit the street to protest shutdown

These federal workers should be on the job, instead they're on the street.
Furloughed workers armed with placards stood in front of the Museum of Natural History in Washington on Wednesday.
They boarded buses to hand out leaflets to tourists to let them know which major attractions were still open and closed.
Seth Couslar, who's worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for the past 25 years, says the furlough will hurt his family.
SOUNDBITE: FURLOUGHED FEDERAL WORKER SETH COUSLAR, SAYING:
"I ACTUALLY HAVE TWO KIDS IN COLLEGE, OUT OF STATE TUITION, IT'S GOING TO BE A SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL HARDSHIP. I'M TALKINGABOUT POSSIBLY GETTING EMERGENCY LOANS FROM THE CREDIT UNION."
The furloughs are forcing many federal workers to file for unemployment.
SOUNDBITE: FURLOUGHED FEDERAL WORKER DAN RONNEBERG, SAYING:
"I wanted to make sure my claim was in, in line so that if this drags out, there might be a check coming that I can pay my rent."
