Caught on camera: A 72-year-old driver of a red Ford F-150 pickup truck was caught on camera plowing her vehicle into a Krispy Kreme in Jeffersontown, Kentucky on Monday (September 30) after accidentally hitting the gas pedal instead of the brakes. The entire event was caught on camera by the store's surveillance recorder. Luckily, no one was seriously injured.

According to Jeffersontown Police Sgt. Brian Colebank, the 72-year-old woman, who was not identified, was trying to pull her vehicle into the parking spot outside the doughnut shop located at 9569 Taylorsville Road at around 9:15 a.m.

"She went to hit the brake and may have mistakenly hit the gas pedal instead," Colebank said.

Patrons John Heffley and Bob Cross happened to be exiting the shop seconds before the accident.

"We were sitting inside, having a doughnut and coffee ... we got up ... as we were walking out the door, the truck came plowing through and the door was on top of me," said Heffley.

Although the woman's identity has not been released, her son, Troy Holder, said his mother was trying to buy doughnuts.

"She called me and said she was in an accident and when I get here and see this ... it's a miracle from God that no one was seriously hurt," he said.

The the store will be closed for an indefinite period of time, according Ted Braun, the Krispy Kreme's general manager.
