Apparently, feral pigs can do quite a bit of damage to both property and people if they’re provoked.

So far, the group that has been occupying the area for days has stuck to eating people’s trash and lounging around in their yards.

Still, that’s enough to keep people inside. Said one area resident, “I’m not built to fight off wildlife.”

A wildlife expert advised that as long as people remain calm and stay out of the hogs’ way, it’s unlikely there will be an incident.

Threaten them in any way, and it’s a whole different story.

Angry pigs have been known to charge and bite those who cross them. As adults can get up to 400 pounds, their attacks are backed by a lot of power.

At this time, the plan is to catch them. Traps filled with dog food, molasses, and corn have been set.

If they’ll actually fall for it remains unknown. Pigs are smart, and have been known to figure out what people are up to pretty quickly.
