John Abraham's obsession for his bikes is well known. Now the actor-producer is making a film on the Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) Race held in the self-governing British Crown Dependency. The event is known to be one of the most dangerous of its kind. And the buzz is that John intends to rope in Isle of Man TT veteran John McGuiness and road racing star Guy Martin for this yetuntitled film.

John told Mirror: "We have never had an honest bike-racing film. With this one, I plan to change that. I want to make a film of international standards. The real-life bikers are the heroes of my film. It is something that they do risking their lives. What drives them is their passion. I will approach them to be a part of my film." The actor will also fly to Isle of Man and participate in a race in order to get acquainted with the terrain. When asked if he intends to perform all the stunts on his own, he said: 'Yes, I won't be using a body-double. I am comfortable riding heavy-duty bikes."

To add more authenticity to the film, he will also send his technical crew to the Isle in May and shoot the real tournament which might be used in the film

Motor racing began on the Isle of Man in 1904 and the Snaefell Mountain Course over which the Isle of Man TT races are run is one of the oldest motor-cycle racing circuits. The terrain is also one of the most dangerous and between 1907 and 2009 there have been 240 rider deaths reported.
