Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is undoubtedly one of those actors who has always experimented with his films, be it by playing an intense musician in 'Rockstar' or by his deaf and mute act in 'Barfi!' However, in addition to his unconventional character league, the recent news now claims that the actor will be seen playing Lord Shiva in his next.
Reportedly, Ranbir Kapoor has apparently been roped in to essay the deity role of Lord Shiva in Karan Johar's next, which is an adaptation of the best-selling novel, Immortals of Meluha.
Interestingly, now our buzzing bee further suggests that initially the makers had approached Hrithik Roshan to play Shiva, and later Shahid Kapoor too was speculated to do this ambitious role in the film. However, with Ranbir being rumored this time, sources claim that it was his dear friend-director Ayan Mukerji's idea to zero down on the actor.
So what say viewers? Will our playboy Ranbir do justice to this Godly character?
