Modern Family fans, brace yourselves: ABC is eyeing a spinoff. Deadline is reporting that the network has been in early talks with 20th Century Fox TV for a show starring funnyman Rob Riggle. Riggle played Phil Dunphy's real estate nemesis Gil Thorpe on two episodes last season. The spinoff chatter comes just days after Modern Family picked up a fourth consecutive Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series.
