    Fifty caves cleaned in Iran on Clean Cave Day

    Fifty caves across Iran are cleaned by caving enthusiasts and lovers of nature. September 24th of every year is called "Clean Cave Day" by Association of Iranian Cavers and Speleogists. Every Friday after the Clean Cace Day, cavers and nature lovers throughout the country take a bag, go to the caves in their province, fill it with trash and clean the caves as much as they can. On the first "Clean Cave Day" on September 2010, 39 caves were cleaned of trash. The Deputy of Natural Resources and Biodiversity at Iran’s Department of Environment came to Roud Afshan Cave to enjoy the nature and take part in the event.
