I was one of those kids who flipped on the alpine slide and had 2 knee operations. I was 13 years old when the sled braking mechanism didn't work. Flipped over scrapped both knees and elbow - ride at your own risk signs in first aid office. There I sat with a girl who had front teeth knocked out in wave pool- oh real fun!
I live in Uk and we used to have a public park. It had a climbing frame that would easily kill you if you lost your balance/grip, It was this that taught you about self preservation. Kids today have no idea what fun and fear is. Shame really, I would love to have gone to that place. Coooooooooll.
