Adam Levine slams Lady Gaga on Twitter and she responds by tweeting at Miley Cyrus?! What's up guys thank for checking in with ClevverMusic for your music news. So it seems Adam Levine does not APPLAUD for Lady Gaga. On Friday September 20th Adam tweeted, "Ugh...recycling old art for a younger generation doesn't make you an artist. It makes you an art teacher." Followed directly by another tweet saying, "I unabashedly love writing and performing pop music for both myself AND everyone around me. That's it. It doesn't need any extra sauce." So why does everyone think The Voice coach is directing those comments at Mother Monster? Easy. First of all the "art" references clearly point at her new album title ARTPOP. And in her new song "Applause" music video she references tons of famous works of art and artists including Koons. And then there's all those Madonna comparisons. Many critics believe Lady Gaga has copied Madonna's theatrics to gain popularity for a new generation, often comparing Gaga's "Born this Way" to Madonna's "Express Yourself". Further, the "extra sauce" might refer to Gaga's eccentric outfits. Yes, Gaga has responded to Adam's jab. Gaga tweeted on Saturday September 21, "uh oh guys the art police is here". We actually love this response, it's kinda hilarious. Becauuse it's true, you can't judge art it is subjective to each person's opinion. And then Sunday to take the attention off this Adam Levine beef, Gaga tweeted a photo of herself and a young Miley Cyrus writing, "DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN WITH LADY GAGA". So is Gaga trying to take ownership of Miley's recent crazy antics? Kinda sounds like it? We're dying for Miley to tweet back, fingers crossed! What do you think she's getting at here and DO you think Adam Levine was referring to Lady Gaga in his harsh tweets?
