The overall purpose of this partenership is to extend pupils' view of what research in science may involve. This is done through studying a certain topic, energy, through approaches which make use of authentic scientific inquiry, including its international, social and team working aspects. Thus more specifically the aim of the partnership is to improve both pupils' and teachers' knowledge of the topic energy, of scientific inquiry and of langage use associated with natural sciences. The partnership also aims at developping methods for interdisciplinary teaching in natural sciences and for co-operation between different study programmes, as well as forms for regular collaboration with science centers.
