BJP's official PM candidate Narendra Modi seeks help from various Bollywood stars though his social networking platform. Perhaps one of the most net savvy politicians of India, the Gujarat Chief Minister recently took twitter and requested the Bollywood icons to help him in encouraging the youth of today to vote.
With the 2014 elections coming up, NaMo, as he is nicknamed, turned to B-town celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Preity Zinta, Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, among others, on Twitter and had apparently requested their help in pushing the youth of India to vote.
He was quoted by saying, "let's encourage voter registration among 18-24 yr olds. Large number of them unregistered. EC drive presently underway".
Well, we wonder that will Bollywood respond to Narendra Modi's request.
