As the deadly mall siege in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi continues into a second day, Kenyans do one of the only things they can do while they wait.

They're donating blood to help the scores of injured victims in Saturday's attack, which left at least 59 people dead, including children.

"We have lost a lot of life and of course a lot of kids and many things which are negative to us so we come out as Kenyans to put ourselves together, help and donate blood to our fellow Kenyans."

The government believes 10-15 Somali Islamists are still holed up inside the Westgate shopping mall with an unknown number of hostages.

The militants oppose Kenya's military presence in neighboring Somalia.

Kenya's opposition leader and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga says the gunmen are still in control.
