When you are given the huge responsibility of making a superhero movie, you have to consult the best of the best when you run into a roadblock or two.And that's exactly what director Alan Taylor did for Thor: The Dark World. The new edition of SFX magazine has a good bit of details regarding the upcoming sequel to Marvels Thor:The Dark World, and in an interview with the mag Alan Taylor is admitting that Avengers writer and director, Joss Whedon, had to step in to quote "save our lives a couple of times." Let me explain. There apparently were a couple of big scenes in Thor 2 that were not working out the way that Taylor had planned. So, the team called in, and basically air lifted Joss Whedon in to London to help rewrite one very important scene in particular. And while he was there, Taylor also used him to help enhance a couple of other scenes as well. According to Taylor, Joss's additions and changes were exactly what they needed to make the movie work saying quote "They were just much better and much lighter on their feet. Much more fun, much more surprising than what we had been trying to do." Taylor said that he admired guys, like Joss Whedon, who come from the TV world, and that they have a great skill in being able to work through a problem quickly. So it sounds like Thor: The Dark World got the Joss Whedon treatment, which we think can only be a good thing. But what do you think? Does the fact that they had to bring Joss Whedon in make you a little nervous about how good this sequel will turn out? Or, do you think that it can only mean that Whedon is giving it his stamp of approval? Let us know what you're thinking out there, and if you haven't connected with us on Facebook or Twitter yet, then you gotta do that right now!
